– Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Seezeitlodge

As part of the Seezeit Kultur series, experience the Modern Blues Trio on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at a relaxed Blues Matinée at the Seezeitlodge Hotel & Spa. Enjoy not only the magnificent view of Lake Bostal from the terrace covered with sun sails, but also delicious finger food and a champagne reception.

The Bluesmafia becomes the Modern Blues Trio
Providing the soundtrack this Sunday is the Modern Blues Trio—still known to many by their former name, Bluesmafia. Behind the group are the same top-notch musicians:Lukas Schüßler, rising star of the German blues scene and 2023 Culture Award winner; bass all-rounder Stefan Engelmann; and drummer Elmar Federkeil, who has been an integral part of the Saarland scene for over 35 years.

Together, they deliver the finest, polished blues, shaped by the influences of great role models like Robben Ford and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Since 2025, they have been delighting music lovers with their “Blues Living Room” in Saarbrücken, and in early 2026 they recorded their first joint CD, which will be released this summer. For enthusiasts, it will also be available on vinyl.

Look forward to a delightful start to your day: The matinee includes a champagne reception (non-alcoholic options available) as well as delicious finger food and a selection of tarte flambées. In case of inclement weather, the event will take place in the lower lobby.
