Arrival and departure

Check-in and check-out?

  • Check-in: guaranteed from 3 p.m.
  • Check-in: until 11 a.m.
  • Early check-in (subject to availability): from 1 p.m. for €40.00 per room
  • Late check-out (subject to availability): until 1 p.m. for €40.00 per room

Will my credit card be charged at check-in?

We will pre-authorise a security deposit of 25% of the total booking amount on your credit card (Visa or Mastercard). Alternatively, you may make a deposit of 70% of the agreed total via bank transfer, or pay 25% in cash upon check-in. You can also pay the total amount using a debit card (EC card or Girocard).

Arrival by train

Türkismühle station is the nearest railway station. Upon prior request (at least 3 days before arrival) and depending on availability, we will be happy to organise a pick-up for you. Our guest shuttle will take you to the hotel in just a few minutes. A fee of €10.00 per room applies.

Arrival by plane

Saarbrücken airport: approx. 45 minutes
Frankfurt/Main airport: approx. 90 minutes
Cologne/Bonn airport: approx. 90 minutes
Luxembourg airport: approx. 45 minutes

Can I have breakfast and access the spa on the day of arrival?

Yes, with our “Breakfast & Spa” package for €69.00 per person.

  • Breakfast: between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m.
  • Spa access: from 15 a.m.

Is spa access available on the day of departure?

  • Free all-day use
  • You can leave your bags in the luggage room.
  • Lockers, showers, and changing rooms are available in the spa.
  • Spa bag with bathrobe and towels can still be used.

Are there parking and e-charging facilities?

  • Free parking is available.
  • Covered carports: €8.00 per day
  • 30+ e-charging stations: charging process with room card, billing directly via the room (€0.79/kWh)

Spa and activity programme

When is the spa area open?

  • Treatments: From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and by appointment
  • Fitness house “BewegungsRaum” Open 24/7
  • Pool area (dress-on): 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Natural bathing pond: Opening hours are adjusted year-round according to current weather conditions.
    Clothing required from June to September, clothing optional from October to May.
  • Indoor sauna area: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Keltendorf sauna area: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Ladies’ sauna area: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.

When should I book spa treatments?

We recommend booking 4 to 6 weeks in advance, but last-minute requests by e-mail or phone are also welcome.

Can I book treatments online?

No, only our day spa offer can be booked online. Requests for treatments can be made via the online form. You can find an overview with prices on our website.

Is a family sauna available?

Please check our morning newsletter for the family sauna times (e.g. during the school holidays).

Can I view and book the activity programme in advance?

Yes, via our Carlito App:

When does yoga take place?

How do I get to the fitness house?

A circular path leads to the fitness house “BewegungsRaum” – the door can be opened with the room card.

What equipment is available in the fitness house?

  • Cardio equipment: treadmill, cross trainer, bike
  • Strength training: dumbbells, rowing machine, weight tower

Other: fitness mats, exercise ball, stepper, wall bars, weight bench

Cuisine

Allergies and intolerances?

Enjoy your stay without worries! From breakfast to dinner, we naturally offer a selection that caters to vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free guests. We also gladly accommodate the special needs of expectant mothers. Please inform us of any allergies or intolerances with each new booking, as we do not store health data. For special menus, an additional charge of €15.00 per day applies.

Do I have to book a table for dinner?

No, we automatically reserve a table for all hotel guests.

As a hotel guest, can I choose to eat à la carte instead of the set menu?

Yes, just let us know at reception by 3 p.m. – we will then credit you €25.00 per person.

What are the meal times?

  • Breakfast buffet: 7 a.m. – 11 a.m.
  • Smoothie bar: 1 p.m. – 4.30 p.m.
  • Coffee, cake and soup: 2 p.m. – 4.30 p.m. (only for hotel guests)
  • Dinner: 6 p.m. – 9.30 p.m.

Can I dine at the restaurant as an external guest?

  • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner: with prior reservation
  • Breakfast price for external guests: €42.00 per person incl. drinks
  • Coffee and cake time is reserved for hotel guests.
  • Bar NOX: from 6 p.m. without reservation (seats subject to availability)

Are dogs allowed in the restaurant?

We kindly ask for your understanding that dogs are not permitted in the restaurant. However, they are very welcome in our spacious lobby and library. Subject to availability, we would be happy to reserve a table for you and your four-legged companion in the library for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Is there a dress code in the restaurant?

At Bar LUMI, we appreciate a neat yet casual style. In the spa bistro, feel free to enjoy a bite to eat in your bathrobe.

Rooms and furnishings

Is there air conditioning in the rooms?

No, we rely on sustainable concrete core activation to create a comfortable indoor climate. In addition, strategically placed louvers and curtains provide optimal shade and light control.

Is the hotel wheelchair accessible, and does it offer accessible rooms?

We offer one accessible room. The entire ground floor – including the lobby, restaurant with adjoining terrace, event area, and Seezeit Spa – is at ground level and fully accessible. 

Is there a minimum length of stay?

  • Weekends: minimum stay of 2 nights
  • Fire Suite and Sweetheart Suite: minimum stay of 3 nights
  • Spa Suite (two-room suite): minimum stay of 2 nights
  • Public holidays: minimum stay requirements vary and bookings are available as special arrangements

What are the cancellation conditions?

  • Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival
  • 70% of the total value of the booking from 14 days before arrival
  • 90% in the event of cancellation on the day of arrival or no-show
  • Special conditions on public holidays (e.g. Christmas and New Year's Eve) – please contact our reception and reservations team
  • Tip: We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.

Are umbrellas available at the hotel?

Yes, these are available at reception.

Where is smoking allowed?

  • On the room balcony (with the door closed)
  • In front of the main entrance
  • On the terrace

Further questions

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, in selected rooms.

However, not on the second floor or in the following room categories:

  • Lake Room “Garden Lodge”
  • Garden Lodge Suite
  • Sweetheart Suite, Fire Suite, and Spa Suite (two-room suite)

We charge a €30.00 fee per room and night for your dog’s stay (maximum of two dogs per room in their own basket). We are happy to provide your four-legged friends with a blanket, two bowls, and a treat upon arrival.

Dog policy

By confirming your booking, you agree to these terms and conditions.

  • We kindly ask for your understanding that dogs are not allowed in the restaurant or the spa and wellness area. However, they are very welcome in our spacious lobby and library.
  • Subject to availability, we would be happy to reserve a table for you and your four-legged companion in the library for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Please inform us before your arrival.
  • Sleeping
    With our dog blankets, your four-legged friend will have a cosy spot on the floor. Bed, sofa, and chairs are reserved for people.
  • Food
    Please use wet food only on the balcony.
  • Dog sign
    Simply hang the dog sign on your room door, and our housekeeping team will know your furry friend is present.
  • Room cleaning
    Out of respect for your dog’s territorial behaviour, we clean the rooms only when your furry friend is not present. Please notify the reception briefly or leave a note on the room flyer.
  • Leash
    Dogs must be kept on a leash on the hotel grounds.
  • Walking
    When walking your dog, you will find dog waste stations with bags available outdoors.
  • Dog-free zones
    The spa and restaurant are dog-free areas. If you would like to dine with your dog, our library is a suitable place.
  • Barking
    Thank you for keeping your dog’s barking under control to ensure peace and relaxation for all our guests.
  • Surcharge
    If extra cleaning of furnishings and fixtures is required, we charge an additional fee of €50.00.

Is Seezeitlodge an adults-only hotel?

No. Children are welcome here. Please note that we do not offer childcare or child-friendly services.

Does Seezeitlodge offer children’s pricing?

0-2.99 years: €0.00 in a baby cot in the parents’ room
3-6.99 years: from €85.00 to €105.00 per night in an extra bed in the parents’ room
7-11.99 years: from €110.00 to €130.00 per night in an extra bed in the parents’ room
12-15.99 years: from €185.00 to €205.00 per night in an extra bed in the parents’ room
Our children’s rates (from 3 years) include overnight stay, breakfast, cake in the afternoon, and dinner.

From age 16, the adult rate applies, including Seezeit cuisine.

Is there a regular guest programme?

Yes—our “Seezeit Friends” rewards program for collecting Time Sparks!

What vouchers are available?

We only offer value vouchers (no service-related vouchers).

Can I pay with a voucher?

Currently, vouchers can only be redeemed in person at check-in. Online redemption is in progress.
